Dividends
Following the restructuring of the Fund on December 17, 2010, Enbridge Income Fund Holdings Inc. ("EIFH") adopted a quarterly dividend payout policy to be consistent with the quarterly distributions of the Fund and continued to pay dividends at the same annual rate as the distributions of the Fund in 2010. Effective July 1, 2011, both EIF and EIFH revised the frequency of their distributions/dividends back to a monthly basis.

All dividends paid by EIFH are designated as eligible dividends, pursuant to Subsection 89(14) of the Income Tax Act. An eligible dividend paid to a Canadian resident is entitled to the enhanced dividend tax credit.
