Through its ownership interest in Enbridge Income Fund, ENF gathers, transports and stores crude oil and liquids to be shipped on the Enbridge mainline for markets in the U.S., produces energy through its Green Energy assets and transports high heat content natural gas to markets in and around Chicago through its 50% interest in the Canadian portion of Alliance Pipeline.

Energy Infrastructure Asset Base
Green Power Generation
- ENF produces over 500 MW of green energy from its diverse renewable energy asset base
- Assets include Wind Energy, Solar Power and Waste Heat recovery facilities
- Underpinned by long term power purchase agreements with high credit worthy counterparties
- Managed under long term operation and maintenance agreements
Crude Oil Transportation and Storage
- Crude oil transporation assets include the Bakken pipeline, Saskatchewan Gathering, Westspur, Weyburn and Virden pipeline systems, which combined, have the ability to deliver up to 400,000 bbls/day to Enbridge Mainline at Cromer, Manitoba
- Hardisty Contract Terminals – 19 above ground tanks, approximately 7.5 million barrels of storage capacity, adjacent to Enbridge’s Mainline System and at the junction of various regional receipt and export pipelines
- Hardisty Storage Caverns – 4 below ground caverns and two above ground buffer tanks, approximately 3.5 million barrels of storage capacity
Natural Gas Transmission
- Alliance Canada is designed to transport high heat content, liquids rich natural gas
- Firm capacity: 1,325 mcf/day fully contracted through 2015
- Competitive volume based toll from northeastern BC to Chicago, Illinois
- Close proximity to growing liquids rich supply basins
