Learn About ENF
ENF is designed and managed to appeal to investors seeking reliable and predictable cash returns from low-risk energy infrastructure assets.
Through ENF, investors can participate in a diversified portfolio of energy transportation and power generation businesses owned by the Fund and operated by Enbridge, one of North America’s leading energy delivery companies.
The Fund's assets consist of a portfolio of Canadian liquids transportation and storage businesses, including:
the 2,306-kilometre Canadian segment of the Mainline System, which is the largest conduit of oil into the United States;
the Regional Oil Sands System in Alberta and pipelines in the Saskatchewan Bakken region;
the Canadian segment of the Southern Lights Pipeline;
Class A units, entitling the holder to receive defined cash flows from the US segment of the Southern Lights Pipeline;
a 50 percent interest in the Alliance Pipeline; and
interests in more than 1400 MW of renewable and alternative power generation capacity.
These assets are strategically positioned and supported by strong supply and demand fundamentals. We consider these assets to be low-risk as almost all are underpinned by long-term contracts and/or regulated tolling structures, which generate stable and predictable cash flows that are passed on to investors. ENF and the Fund also benefit from strong sponsorship and ownership by Enbridge.
